Meet Michael A. Fuller, DO

Michael A. Fuller, D.O., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopy and sports medicine. A graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Fuller completed his orthopedic training at the North Shore-LIJ Health System, where he was named chief orthopedic resident. Dr. Fuller also completed a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at Orthopedic Research of Virginia. While there, he was the assistant team physician for the Virginia Tech football team and worked with the Richmond Renegades professional hockey club.

Dr. Fuller specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic and sports medicine procedures using small, “poke hole” incisions to fix a range of injuries, including rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, ACL reconstructions and problems with the hip and elbow. This approach helps patients recover and return to activities – whether work or play – as soon as possible. A college basketball and baseball player, Dr. Fuller enjoys working with the athletic trainers of Douglas County and helping keep young athletes healthy and on the field.

Outside of work, Dr. Fuller likes watching his wife and three children compete in sports and enjoys the Colorado, outdoor lifestyle.
