googleMichael A. Fuller, D.O., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopy and sports medicine. A graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Fuller completed his orthopedic training at the North Shore-LIJ Health System, where he was named chief orthopedic resident. Dr. Fuller also completed a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at Orthopedic Research of Virginia. While there, he was the assistant team physician for the Virginia Tech football team and worked with the Richmond Renegades professional hockey club.
Dr. Fuller specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic and sports medicine procedures using small, “poke hole” incisions to fix a range of injuries, including rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, ACL reconstructions and problems with the hip and elbow. This approach helps patients recover and return to activities – whether work or play – as soon as possible. A college basketball and baseball player, Dr. Fuller enjoys working with the athletic trainers of Douglas County and helping keep young athletes healthy and on the field.
Outside of work, Dr. Fuller likes watching his wife and three children compete in sports and enjoys the Colorado, outdoor lifestyle.

I have found Dr. Fuller to be extremely knowledgeable; more importantly, he is willing and able to answer all my questions in a humane, caring manner, so that I can understand the nuances of my recovery. He cares about bringing his patients to a successful recovery, and he is currently helping me through a one year recovery, after I was hit by a car while on my bike. I would highly recommend Dr. Fuller if you need an experienced orthopedic surgeon. I also can so highly recommend the Panorama Orthopedics physical therapy team, Dr. Fuller’s physician assistant, and all the office staff that I have interacted with at this medical practice. They have just been the best in so many ways. My husband has also had multiple positive experiences and outcomes with this medical practice. I also have had a good experience with other members of the team, including those welcoming me, the medical assistants, and Dr. Hugate who listened very well at my first appointment. He referred me to his partner, Dr. Fuller, after going over my imaging and my symptoms with me. Dr. Hugate was so kind and knowledgeable as well.
