Meet Todd M. Wente, MD

Dr. Todd M. Wente is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. He also performs knee replacement surgery, including MAKO robotic-assisted joint replacement, and fracture management.

Dr. Wente’s expertise stems from his personal athletic background and understanding of sports-related injuries. His specialization focuses on helping patients return to active lifestyles through advanced arthroscopic techniques and comprehensive joint replacement options when conservative treatments aren’t sufficient.

Dr. Wente believes that an active lifestyle is vital for people of all ages and recognizes that losing those activities can significantly impact a patient’s life and overall health. His patient philosophy centers on excellent communication – thoroughly explaining diagnoses and treatment options in understandable terms. He emphasizes providing patients with various treatment and rehabilitation options, empowering them to make the best decisions for their individual circumstances and goals.

Outside of work, Dr. Wente enjoys Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle with his wife through skiing, hiking, fly fishing, golf, water skiing, and his recently discovered hobby of photography.
